Vacancy Details: Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates who are Indian Nationals for training in Workshops and Divisions of Eastern Railway as Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time
The online link will be live on the official website of RRC-ER from 11:00 hrs. of 24/09/2024 onwards and would remain live upto 17:00 hrs. of 23/10/2024. The candidates should click on the live link and fill up their application forms as per instructions of this notification.

Eastern Railway Apprentice Application fees
· Application fees (non-refundable) are Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred) only. No fee, however, is to be paid by the SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women candidates).
Eastern Railway Apprentice Age Limit:
· Candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age (as of the cut-off date for receiving applications).
Eastern Railway Apprentice Education Qualification
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and should also possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Eastern Railway Apprentice Selection Process
· Selection of a candidate for the training slot of a unit of Eastern Railway will be based on merit prepared in respect of all eligible candidates who apply against the notification. A merit list will be prepared based on data/ details filled up by candidates in the online application form.
Eastern Railway Apprentice Salary
· Candidates finally engaged will be provided Stipends at the prescribed rate as per extant provisions.
